All American Archery ELITE Team

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

All American Archery is committed to advancing the mission of the organization to achieve sustained competitive excellence by providing quality high performance training, practice, and individual coaching, and maintaining a positive high performance culture.  This program is intended to provide enhanced training for advanced and elite athletes to reach the “next level” of performance.

Athletes are welcome to participate while maintaining membership in their current local or home club(s) or to become an Elite team member by joining All American Archery ELITE as their club of record.

Those who join All American Archery ELITE as their club of record will also receive a custom training plan, virtual coach support, and access to online trainings to further develop within USAA’s athlete competencies and will be eligible to request additional private coaching with Coach Tom Hinojosa or any of the team coaches (additional fee; varies by the instructor).

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
  • Highly dedicated archers intending to compete at the national and international level, in addition to local and state tournaments
  • Athletes across the United States can apply to participate or to be members
  • International athletes can be associate members through online coaching 
LEVELS OF PARTICIPATION
  1. Official All American Archery ELITE team member (no other archery club affiliation)
  2. Associate ELITE team member (those who do not live in the greater Denver Metro area and who have no other archery club affiliation)
  3. Program guests (those who choose to attend selected AAA ELITE trainings and/or camps while retaining their home club affiliation)
AAA ELITE TEAM MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES
  • Weekly high performance training sessions in the Denver Metro area (currently Saturdays, 1-5pm)
  • Team members will receive custom training plans, virtual coach support, and access to online trainings to further their development.
  • Guaranteed spot in all camps
  • The opportunity for individual coaching with Coach Tom Hinojosa (in person and/or online) – additional fee
  • The opportunity to purchase a distinctive AAA ELITE team competition jersey
  • Team members who meet event requirements will be invited to at least one international event each year as a representative of the USA archery contingent.
    • These are self-funded opportunities to gain valuable experience competing at World Archery sanctioned events alongside international elite archers from around the world.

  • Special team pricing for courses at The Mental Performance Academy.
FEES
  • Annual membership fee (invoiced each January)
  • Monthly dues for weekly training sessions (based on attendance)
  • Training camps (based on attendance)

All American Archery ELITE Training Camps

ELITE training camps for USAT level competitors, ages 13 and above.

Compound, recurve, barebow, & para archers welcome.

 

Camps will be scheduled prior to:

  • every USAT event,

  • outdoor Nationals, and

  • the start of the indoor season

First time participants at an AAA Elite camp may choose to apply to become a member of the AAA ELITE Team. The application process includes evaluation and an interview by Coach Tom Hinojosa.

Camps are intended to be a supplemental ELITE training opportunity, not a replacement for the athletes’ current home archery club/team and coach.

Any athlete may attend AAA Elite camps as a guest athlete if they choose not to apply for team membership. See below for team membership information.

ELITE COMPETITOR CAMPS 

Camps are typically scheduled prior to each USAT event, Outdoor Nationals, and the start of the Indoor season. For information about these tournaments, click the following link: USA Archery National events

  • DATES: Camps are usually held on Saturdays and Sundays with possible optional Friday components.
  • TIME: 9am to 5pm, Saturday & Sunday; 6-8pm Friday evenings
  • LOCATIONS: previous locations include: Salt Lake City Easton Center, Utah; Denver, CO; Albuquerque, NM
  • 2023 FEE: $250 for camp plus facility use fee
  • NOTE:
    • Accommodations & meals are not included.
    • Each day of camp a parent, legal guardian, or other adult specified by a parent or legal guardian must drop off & pick up athletes who are minors.
