Archery Instructor Certification Registration

Coach Tom Hinojosa has been given approval by USA Archery to teach the practical portion of certification courses online to those who cannot locate an in-person practical course in their area. 

NOTE: USA Archery has redesigned the Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Certification courses.  Each level is now a two part process: the first part is an online, self-paced course taken on the USA Archery education hub. The second part is a practical course that takes place in person and is scheduled separately with a certified instructor trainer. 

Level 1, 2 & 3 Practical Courses Taught by Coach Tom

THE NEW CERTIFICATION PROCESS CREATED BY USAA IS NOW IN PLACE.

It is completed in two parts.

Part 1 is online via the USAA website and Part 2 – the Practical – is in person via a USA certified instructor trainer.

When Part 1 is completed successfully, USAA will allow you to register for a corresponding Practical course. Registering for a practical course is done through your USAA dashboard.

To register for one of Coach Tom’s practical courses, search for “Hinojosa” while on the practical courses page on the USAA site.

When registering for one of Coach Tom’s practical courses, NO PAYMENT TO USA ARCHERY will be made.

It IS necessary to REGISTER for the practical course on the USAA site THEN send an email to tom@allamericanarchery.com to let him know you are registered. In that email, indicate which course you registered for. You will receive an invoice once your registration is verified.

Practical Course Fee: $125 for Level 1 (+$10 for international registrations). $130 for Level 2 (+$10 for international registrations. $300 for Level 3 (+ $25 for international registrations).  There is also a processing fee for each level. 

Registration is necessary at least 48 hrs prior to scheduled start of course.

Receipt of payment is necessary prior to attending a practical course.

A minimum of 4 students is required for a practical course to take place  

In my profession I’ve taken many online classes by government agencies and multibillion dollar companies, but I can say with 100% truthfulness that the class put on by All American Archery was the finest one I’ve participated in. The excellent instruction and the smoothness of all links provided made the class superior to my prior experiences. I hope that USA Archery recognizes the fine staff at All American Archery and the fine job they do in supporting the archery community.

I loved this course! I cannot give enough thanks to Tom, Marianne, and Wayne. They way Tom and Wayne worked in tandem to provide different perspectives and wording to really drive home key points all the way to encouraging students to really get involved in the lesson with personal experience. I really enjoyed the human element they showed too, by which I mean they weren’t too proud to joke around and even offered mentorship to all of us going forward. I was incredibly moved by these acts as there are few and far between coaches with these levels of knowledge out there and that was an amazing opportunity to have. I also wanted to comment on Marianne’s involvement, while she wasn’t teaching, she moderated the chat box and made sure we had the right links during each lesson. As well as kept us all updated in the weeks leading up to the course. Great stuff! In conclusion, if asked if i’d recommend this course, absolutely! 100%! My level of knowledge has skyrocketed and I have so much more insight for my students and my programs. I absolutely got what I paid for and more! Thanks Tom!

I appreciated the adaptability to teaching online.

It allowed me to not travel across the state for a training that proved to be taught very well through Zoom. Tom has an incredible knowledge of archery and level of detail when teaching. I particularly enjoyed how much time we spent on the 11 steps of shooting. I feel much more confident in my abilities to teach a class to any age range or experience level. This training really opens doors for our organization which is in a rural part of CO that doesn’t have a lot of access to archery trainers or courses.

I really enjoyed the class and Tom really has a way of making me want to shoot arrows every moment of the day! I was so excited to run out to my range after class and show my husband what I’d learned and practice teaching him. We threw arrows till it was too dark to see! It was great to, even through a computer screen, feel the excitement and energy of archery. I will say I was disappointed not to be able to get on the range with my peers and an awesome instructor.
