Our instructors are all USA Archery trained and certified and have been a part of our program for at least 2 years.
USA Archery certification is contingent upon passing a national background check and completion of the Safe Sport training program.

Tom Hinojosa
Founder, Director, and Head Instructor

Coach Tom has over 35 years of experience in education and outdoor recreation instruction with a degree in Human Biology from Stanford University.
Currently a USA Archery Regional Coach and Advanced Archery Level 4 Instructor certified by the National Archery Association (N.A.A) after completing training at the U.S. Olympic Training Center. Tom teaches the National Training System, USA Head Coach, Kisik Lee’s, approach to archery.
Coach Tom is a full time, professional archery coach, specializing in coaching elite archers who are focused on attaining their competitive goals.

Marianne Hinojosa
Manager, Coordinator, Web Master
USA Archery Level 2 Instructor
Marianne is the first point of contact for All American Archery. She coordinates lessons and programs in each of AAA’s regions. She mostly lives behind the scenes of All American Archery, but enjoys assisting in person with group events. She is also the wife of Coach Tom.
She has an MBA, a Bachelor of Science degree in Plant Science, and completed the Virtual Assistant program at Assistu.com.
When not scheduling archery events, JOAD sessions, Bear Valley summer camp, working on the website, or helping with group archery events, she helps other businesses around the country as a professional Virtual Assistant.

Coach Sherlene
Instructor & Assistant Coordinator

Coach Sherlene is the coordinator for private & small group lessons in Saratoga.
She is a member of the San Jose State Club Archery Competition Team. She has experience in shooting Barebow and Compound. In 2018, she placed 2nd in her division at the National Indoor Championships and 2nd in Women’s Collegiate Barebow at the State Indoor Championships. She also made the All West Regional Team, comprised of the top 5 archers in each division. And, she is a member of the All American Academic Team. This honor is given to the top 25% of archers in each division, ranked by academic Grade Point Average (GPA). She plans on pursuing her archery career further as a Pro staff with both Carbon Express and Predator’s Archery.
Sherlene is currently finishing her undergraduate degree at San Jose State University with a major in Kinesiology and a specialization in Inclusive Physical Activity in Communities. After graduation, she plans to further her education in the Occupational Therapy field.

Coach Raymond

Coach Raymond is extremely knowledgeable on shooting archery using the National Training System (NTS) and enjoys working closely with students who pursue archery competitively. His calm and patient teaching style has helped all levels of archers achieve excellence.
Raymond serves as the captain of the San Jose State Archery Competition Team. He shoots Olympic Style Recurve and has won numerous accolades while representing the university. Raymond also shoots as a prostaff for both Predator’s Archery and Carbon Express.
He is currently finishing his education at San Jose State University and plans to further his education through San Jose State’s teaching credential program.

Coach Derek

Coach Derek started as an All American Archery student, worked his way through the ranks and has become one of our best instructors.
Known for his calm demeanor and patience, he’s able to work with a wide variety of archers to help them achieve their goals and thoroughly enjoy the sport of archery.
Coach Derek is a graduate of San Francisco State University. When not at the archery range, he works for Decathlon, USA.

Coach Rachel
Assistant Instructor

Assistant Coach Rachel has been a student with, and assistant instructor for All American Archery for several years. She started her archery career in Massachusetts and joined the All American Archery competition team, with head instructor Coach Tom, upon her arrival in California.
When not on the archery range, Rachel is a college student in Minnesota and runs an Etsy business as a polymer clay artist.
