All American Archery instructors are USA Archery trained and certified. USA Archery certification is contingent upon passing a national background check and completion of the Safe Sport training program.
Coach Tom Hinojosa
USA Archery Level 5 NTS High Performance Coach; Mental Performance Coach certified by Mental Management Systems; USA Archery Level 2 Judge; USA Archery Regional Elite Program (REP) Coach; USA Archery 2023 & 2025 Junior Pan American Games team Head Coach; 2024 Para-Pan American Championships coach; 2023 Personal Coach at World Archery Youth Championships; USA Archery 2022 ISF Gymnasiade team Head Coach; USA Archery Copa Merengue 2022 Head Coach.
Coach Tom has over 35 years of experience in education and outdoor recreation instruction with a degree in Human Biology from Stanford University.
He achieved USA Archery Level 5 NTS Coach certification in 2022.
Coach Tom has coached students to World Archery Youth Indoor Championships, Top 10 National Rankings, USA Archery Junior Dream Team, USA Archery Regional Dream Team, State Indoor Champions, and has worked with international Olympic archers. He has also been a volunteer coach for the Valor Games for wounded military personnel.
Coach Tom is able to coach/instruct in multiple styles including recurve, long bow, and compound bows.
He began offering private lessons in 2003 when families came to the range looking for qualified instruction. His program quickly grew to include more than 80 students each week supervised by himself and a team of assistant instructors.
Interest in more advanced training and tournament participation led to the formation of a competition team which resulted in archers achieving placement on international youth USA Archery teams and top 10 rankings in both state and national categories. In 2019 he trained an individual archer from beginner to participation in the 2020 USA Olympic Trials in only 15 months by expertly integrating mental, physical, and technical training for accelerated high performance in competition.
Coach Tom teaches the National Training System (NTS), former USA Archery Head Coach Kisik Lee’s approach to archery. He is also familiar with other approaches/techniques for recurve archery.
He is a full time, professional archery coach, specializing in coaching elite archers who are focused on attaining their competitive goals.
Coach Tom provides elite archer coaching in person in Denver, Colorado as well as online for those in other parts of the country and world.
Marianne Hinojosa
All American Archery Coordinator
Marianne manages the All American Archery website and enjoys assisting Coach Tom with group events.
She has an MBA, a Bachelor of Science degree in Plant Science, and owned her own business as a professional Virtual Assistant for 16 years. She retired from that business in 2021 when her first grandchild was born.
